Three wood wicks, a wave rim and three blade legs. Built for the table.
This is the one that sits in the middle of the table. A wave rim, three blade legs and three wood wicks that melt the whole surface at once and fill a bigger room.
It carries Sankofa in its floor: “go back and get it.” Learn from where you came from to build what’s next. That’s what legacy means to us, so it went in the biggest piece we make.
15.5 oz of coconut soy. Built for a living room, a dinner or a long night in. A three-wick Bowl refill is coming, so this one gets to stay too.
A three-wick Bowl refill is coming soon, so the Bowl stays too.
The design
The edge rises and falls like water. Light the wicks and the flames sit low inside the crests.
The bowl stands up off the table on three thin legs, so it looks like it’s floating.
Three wicks melt the whole pool evenly and crackle low. Light all three every time.
Cast into the surface of every piece, so it feels like cloth and looks like stone. No two pours land exactly the same.
Hidden in the floor
“Go back and get it.”
Learn from the past to build the future. That’s what legacy means to us. It’s an Adinkra symbol of the Akan people of Ghana, cast into the floor under the wax. You won’t see it until the last of the candle comes out.
Why we hide them
